The main goal of the project is to strengthen students' learning by improving the practice of inclusive education for all at school. Our aim was to gain as much theoretical and practical knowledge as possible about universal design for learning and to adopt and implement common progymnasium agreements on the application of this strategy in lessons in order to improve student learning outcomes. In order to achieve the goal, we observed the lessons and activities of more experienced foreign colleagues and looked for good examples of how to educate children in the classroom with a great diversity and differences in their abilities and needs; we learned the ability to lead a class, to work in teams. In order to develop positive value attitudes and an inclusive culture, we observed how, in a Greek school, students' relationships and interaction are created and encouraged, when the goal is to help a classmate in class.
Klaipėda Vitė progymnasium is a school that has existed for 70 years and provides students with primary and basic education. The school community pays great attention to students with different abilities and strives to improve the process of inclusiveness for all. In order to improve in the field of inclusive education, the school carries out preventive activities that help to overcome the following problems: bullying, intolerance, lack of empathy, reluctance to attend school, communication problems in classes, and reduced motivation of students to learn. The progymnasium is a member of the network of schools that accept students who have returned from abroad and participates in the test of the education model for these students, therefore great attention is paid to the education of children of foreigners and those who have returned from emigration. Vitė progymnasium is a modern school, open to innovation and learning, that provides quality education to students of different abilities and enables everyone to experience success and express their ambitions.
