The main objective of the planned project is to improve the quality of education, to develop students' entrepreneurial and intercultural competences, by targeted strengthening of teachers' information literacy competences and their ability to organise quality entrepreneurship education. The students of the entrepreneurship class carry out various activities in the gymnasium, participate in competitions and events in Lithuania. However, in addition, it is very important for them to see and get acquainted with similar activities carried out by their peers in other countries, to share ideas, and to learn about the culture and traditions of other countries. Teacher development is one of the priority areas of the Gymnasium in order to improve the quality of education. The Gymnasium is constantly striving to enable teachers to participate in professional development activities in Lithuania and abroad. One of the classroom models in the Gymnasium is entrepreneurship classrooms. It is very important for students to see a high level of digital literacy among all teachers, the development of teachers' numerical competences and the use of innovation in the classroom.
The fast-growing Kaunas Jonas Jablonskis Gymnasium was founded in 1930 with the mission to provide attractive, safe education conditions for students, to provide quality education in Part II of the basic education and secondary education programmes and non-formal education, to educate people who are critical thinkers, lifelong learners, conscious and creative, respectful of cultural diversity and attitudes, and who responsibly shape the future of their country and world. At the time of the application, 6 different classroom models were being implemented: International Baccalaureate, Bilingual, German Studies, Entrepreneurship, Creative Industries, Academic Classroom, and in the school year 2023-2024, the Academic Classroom model has been changed to Science and Maths . The priorities of the Gymnasium are: improving the quality of education by strengthening students' motivation, strengthening teachers' subject and co-curricular competences, strengthening the integration of subjects and orientation towards practice, personalisation of education, citizenship education, use of IT in the education process. The project activities were designed in in line with the priorities of the Gymnasium.
