Objectives

During the implementation of the project, we wanted to prove to the school community the possibility of integrating subject and language lessons in the level of educational content with the effective use of ICT tools. The school has all the technical possibilities to use modern ICT, thanks to which the learning content is presented interestingly and engagingly. Teachers using ICT gain lasting value by developing activities for their lessons. The prepared educational material can be updated very quickly. Using appropriate ICT tools, students' progress is monitored and knowledge gaps are more easily identified. Applying the CLIL teaching method was very useful when working with special needs children and students who came to study from Ukraine. Successful integration of language and subject content has helped Ukrainian students integrate into the school community. During the implementation of the project, the number of integrated lessons increased, teachers cooperated in preparing integrated lessons, the number of lessons outside the school increased, lessons were conducted in various environments. At the same time, students improved their foreign and interdisciplinary knowledge and successfully applied it to tasks, worked in teams

Background

This project was very necessary and relevant for our school, in order to implement as many modern ICT tools as possible, to increase interdisciplinary integration. Another goal of the project is to promote not only the cooperation of teachers, but also the involvement and communication of students. We noticed that although the ICT tools used during the lessons are not included, they are rarely accompanied by the lessons. We researched what tools and methods would help diversify the teaching process and encourage students' curiosity. We prepared a project, the activities of which made it possible to use modern ICT tools more widely and effectively, the lessons became more interesting, we could immediately measure the progress of the students, and the students were actively involved in the activities of the lessons. The application of the CLIL method encouraged teachers to prepare a foreign language with other taught subjects. The method of integrated content and modern ICT tools especially helped the school community to excel with students who came from Ukraine. It is thanks to the CLIL method that the presented material is easier for these students. Students used ICT tools themselves.
