To improve teachers' social and emotional competences in the field of school education by applying innovative teaching methods. To improve English language skills in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Klaipedos Eduardo Balsio menu gimnazija is the largest gymnasium in Western Lithuania, providing music and art training alongside general education. About 500 children with exceptional artistic talents from 6 to 19 years of age study in this school, and 140 teachers work. The school has a dormitory where children who come to study at the school from other cities and districts live. After the quarantine, the emotional well-being of the students and teachers deteriorated, and the motivation to learn or even to communicate was reduced in the school. In such a complex situation, the knowledge available to teachers who aim to help their students stabilize or improve their emotional state is often insufficient, therefore this project is dedicated to learning new methods for developing social and emotional competences.
