The community of our school developed the competences of work with disabled students, digital, distance, blended learning, competences, education of sustainability and eco-lifestyles. To improve one’s professional skills, the European institutions "Ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih "Maksima", "EUROPASS SRL" have been chosen that have had successful international experience in teacher training. Better ICT, distance, blended learning skills, high quality of special education, education of sustainability and eco-lifestyle were the main goals of our organisation. Sharing good practice with the public also took place.
Šiauliai "Sandoros" progymnasium is an organization which develops on a regular basis as well as conforming to the EU and State strategies for education which is to provide an innovative and effective teaching. This was the reason for the applying for this project. The school life and education have had a lot of challenges last years. Due to COVID-19, distance, blended learning and ICT skills have become significantly more important. Work with disabled pupils, enhancing their motivation and communication skills, education of sustainability and eco-lifestyle, distance and especially blended learning were the activities to improve. Therefore, our school community sent 5 teachers to the courses abroad (to Croatia, Spain) to develop these skills and improve professional and cultural awareness.
