While preparing the project application and analysing the current progress situation of students, decreasing indicators of student learning results were noticed. This project was inspired by the weaknesses identified in the self-evaluation reports of the gymnasium's activities, the needs for improving the quality of the school's activities and internationalization and the qualifications of the employees the need for improvement and schools in 2022-2025 The harmony of the organizational development tasks foreseen in the strategic plan and the goals of the Erasmus+ KA1 program. So the main goals of the project were set - to improve the quality of student education by integrating digital tools and methods, creating conditions for everyone's unique and individual growth and strengthening the cooperation of the community and social partners, creating a safe microclimate to develop community and responsibility. Also the teachers, adopting international experience, would strengthen the communication and cooperation skills of the students, so that every member of the school would increase their self-confidence and regain the courage to actively participate in the life of the school not as a passive observer, but as an active creator.
President Antanas Smetona Gymnasium provides primary, basic and secondary education. It is a school on the outskirts of the city where there are no students are selected based on achievements, abilities or competences. Here, conditions are created for each student who lives in the area and comes from a different social environment to achieve personal and community growth. In the gymnasium, a lot of attention is paid to organizing high-quality education that meets modern requirements, active and innovative teaching methods are applied, experiential activities reveal the importance of critical thinking and lifelong learning. Gymnasium aims to develop the ability of each student to recognize himself in different activities. Non-formal education activities are organized in order to highlight the individual needs of each child, to develop abilities in various sports, art, self-expression, and intellectual activities. The educational process is organized in various educational environments, in active cooperation with social partners, but the constantly changing educational policy and the pace of the needs for improvement of the educational process require the search for a constant and continuous change towards improving the quality
