The student and staff participation in the Erasmus + mobility programme was considered to be of very important for improving the international dimension of studies at Alytus kolegija and is instrumental to reach the foreseen indicators of the Alytus kolegija strategic development. Institution stressed importance of cooperation with international partners and especially usefulness of mobility activities for staff and students. Main aim of the project was to offer as many high quality mobility opportunities as possible both for students and staff of the institution. Mobility is one of key elements of successful internationalization of the institution and Alytus kolegija was aiming to achieve balanced participation in mobility activities in the respect of represented study fields however still the activity level in some study fields is much lower than we would prefer. Since incorporating Alytus kolegija into Kauno kolegija we are actively searching for means to encourage the staff to deepen their professional competencies as well as share that knowledge with students and staff from partner institutions and to do it in the international environment as it is one of the goals of the mobility project.
