The project activities were designed to achieve the goals and objectives outlined in the Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution Development Strategy and the Internationalization Promotion Plan. The primary focus was on expanding the network of strategic partners (preparing joint project applications), strengthening international cooperation (developing mobility programs), attracting foreign students, and improving the quality of mobility initiatives. Additionally, emphasis was placed on enhancing the intercultural, professional, and linguistic competencies of students, faculty, and administrative staff. During the project, opportunities were provided for academic staff to upgrade their professional qualifications, establish collaborative relationships with foreign researchers, share experiences, and apply them in modernizing the college's study programs to achieve greater internationalization of studies. Furthermore, efforts were made to ensure that all college students (both part-time and full-time) could gain valuable international experience, encourage their participation in mentorship activities, and improve their foreign language skills through study exchange programs or internships in international organizations. These experiences help students become more competitive in the job market, more motivated, and open to innovation.
