The Erasmus+ KA171 project was implemented to contribute to Vilnius University’s strategic goal of becoming a collaborative, sustainable, and globally connected university by accelerating the internationalization, fostering academic partnerships beyond Europe, while actively promoting democratic values and intercultural understanding. By implementing student mobility, Vilnius University aimed to strengthen students’ professional and global competencies, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while also expanding access to academic exchanges, including for those with fewer opportunities.Through staff mobility, the University aimed to enhance professional development, diversify the international academic community, foster intercultural collaboration, support innovative teaching and governance, and build long-term strategic partnerships with universities worldwide.
