Participation of students and staff in the Erasmus+ mobility programme is essential for advancing the internationalization of studies at Kauno kolegija and for achieving its strategic development goals. The project aimed to provide the widest possible access to high-quality mobility opportunities for both students and staff, recognizing mobility as a key driver of institutional growth and personal development. While mobility across study fields and between different regions was encouraged, activity levels in some cases remain below expectations. Equally important is incoming mobility, which significantly enriches the academic and cultural environment. International students and staff bring diversity, fresh perspectives, and innovative practices that strengthen the inclusiveness and global orientation of our study programmes. Outgoing and incoming exchanges together support professional competence development, curriculum modernization, and intercultural learning, while also reinforcing strategic partnerships and fostering long-term cooperation. Mobility thus serves as a catalyst for individual growth, institutional competitiveness, and the successful implementation of Kauno kolegija’s internationalization strategy.
