The main aim of mobility of higher education students and staff supported by external policy funds (KA171-HED) project No 2022-1-LT01-KA171-HED-000079776 is to foster international mobility between Programme countries and third countries not associated to the Programme. In the context of globalisation and internationalisation mobility undertakes a key role in all the higher education institutions' processes and activities: supports extension of institutional partnerships and networks, thus aiming at increasing internationalisation at the institutional, national and international levels; impacts teaching and research experiences and professional identity of academic staff, helps to improve participants' knowledge and skills, foreign language and intercultural competences, communication, employability and career competences, etc. The strategy of Vilniaus kolegija (VIKO) for 2021-2025 continues highlighting the importance of internationalisation - it is one of the four key horizontal priorities, penetrating into all institution's activities. This mobility project served as one of the major tools to achieve the strategic aims.
