Background

Communication is an integral part of our lives – we communicate at work, at home, with friends or in public places. However, not everyone can use language effectively due to language or communication disorders. The aim of the project “Empowering Life” was to develop the communication skills of people with disabilities using modern technologies. While implementing the project, partners from Lithuania, Iceland and Belgium shared their experience, adopted effective working methods and applied them in their organizations. One of the most important goals is to improve the qualifications of employees so that they can more effectively help people with disabilities improve their basic and social skills. Special attention is also paid to promoting social integration and developing employment activities. Technology has become an indispensable tool that helps people with disabilities not only communicate, but also participate more actively in society. The project ensured full involvement and promoted the self-realization of people with disabilities.
