Objectives

HyLearn project aimed at empowering adult educators who mostly work in F2F learning environments, to create and implement hybrid learning (HL) practices supported with virtual assistant (VA). Specific objectives were: 1.To enhance adult educators skills related to the design and implementation of hybrid learning (HL) practices. 2.To boost adult educators' awareness and digital skills to design courses using hybrid learning (HL) methodology. 3.To improve adult educators experience in hybrid learning (HL) supported with virtual assistant (VA).

Background

The learning of all people, including senior citizens, the unemployed is to be organized using modern technologies and new educational approaches. For this reason, we focused to improve the digital competences of adult's educators (andragogues), who work with this target group. This project enabled adult educators not only to improve their professional and digital skills, but also their pedagogical methods, to keep up-to-date and organize the learning process in more dynamic, interactive, effective and accessible ways. Hybrid learning approach is coming more wider and andragogues needs to have competences for hybrid learning (HL) implementation. However when we use HL in education there is also important virtual assistance technology, that learner will be not left without the answering to the raised questions. For that can serve the technologies (AI based) that are coming to the educational processes. New technologies and innovative learning approaches attract people to continue their lifelong learning and enable them to keep up with the innovative tendencies. HyLearn project's developed results and efforts significantly raised awareness of hybrid learning (HL) in adult education ensuring its sustainability and long-term impact.
