Objectives

A1) Nowadays, global ecosystems face challenges from rapid industrialization, leading to issues like climate change, deforestation, and pollution. These not only harm wildlife but also impact human health. To tackle these issues, moving towards sustainable practices is crucial. The "Green Choices" Erasmus+ training course took place in Vilnius from April 15-19 (+2 travel days), uniting 28 participants from Lithuania, Poland, Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Greece, and Turkey. The project aimed to involve young people in international dialogues and decision-making about environmental issues. The main objectives of this projects were: * Identify and emphasize the most damaging environmental habits common in the participating countries; * Foster international collaboration on pressing environmental challenges; * Share successful models of eco-friendly initiatives from different countries; * Create clear guidelines for eco-friendly social initiatives in local communities; * Boost public awareness on environmental responsibility and encourage participants to share eco-practices in their home communities A2) Many young people are struggling to find stable jobs. Often, they experience unfair conditions or discrimination at work. A lack of skills and information about job opportunities also holds them back. To improve this situation, we need to offer them better training and ensure fair employment for everyone. The "Job Equality" Erasmus+ Youth Exchange took place in Vilnius from May 3-9(+2 travel days) , attracting young participants from Lithuania, Poland, Georgia, Greece, and Turkey. The project targeted several key objectives: 1)Strengthen soft skills and vital competencies for young individuals; 2)Deepen knowledge of starting and managing a business among youth; 3)Expand job prospects for youngsters in involved countries and introduce them to EU skill-building opportunities; 4) Enhance access and equal chances for rural youth in job and educational opportunities. A3) Today, there's a growing concern about the lack of active youth participation in democratic life. Many young people feel disconnected from traditional political processes and often don't vote or engage in civic activities. Without active youth involvement, there's a risk of a democratic deficit where decisions don't reflect the needs and desires of the younger generation. In response to this challenge, the "Empower Your Voice" Erasmus+ training course was organized in Vilnius from May 26-31(+2 travel days). The course gathered youth workers and volunteers from Italy, Lithuania, Greece, Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Spain. Training course focused on fostering active citizenship and involvement in democratic life, the project set out to achieve the following objectives: 1) Foster youth engagement in global dialogues and policy-making decisions; 2) Analyze the major challenges arising from a lack of youth voice in democratic procedures; 3) Encourage collaborative approaches, allowing youth to brainstorm and implement projects in local communities; 4) Highlight the importance of active participation as a tool for societal change; 5) Create a guidelines outlining measures to enhance active community involvement at the local level. Besides that all 3 projects linked to the Erasmus+ objectives by contributing to the following: 1) Promoting European values such as respect for human dignity, democracy, equality, sustainable development, pluralism and solidarity; 2) The overall objectives of the renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field by providing more and equal opportunities for young people in education and the labor market and encouraging young people to participate in society actively; 3) The aims of the strategic framework for European collaboration in education and training are aligned with shared EU goals to: a) make lifelong learning and mobility a reality, b) improve the quality and efficiency of education and training, c) promote equity, social cohesion, and active citizenship; and d) enhance creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship at all levels of education and training. At last, all 3 projects corresponded to specific KA1 objectives: 1) increased ability to address the needs of the disadvantaged; 2) better quality of youth workers’ activities in favor of young people; 3) broader understanding of youth work across countries; 4) improved foreign language competencies; and 5) increased motivation for taking part in future (formal/non-formal) education or training after the mobility period abroad.
