By implementing the project, the main goal was to contribute to peacebuilding and conflict prevention, particularly in areas affected by frozen armed conflicts and displacement. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: Promoting peace-building and conflict management: The project aimed to bring together young people from different countries and backgrounds to engage in open and constructive discussions about peace-building and conflict resolution. By fostering communication and understanding, it sought to equip participants with skills to address conflicts in their communities. Encouraging social inclusion: The project focused on the integration and social animation of residents in post-conflict zones, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and refugees. It aimed to create a safe and tolerant space where young people with diverse backgrounds could interact and overcome prejudices and stereotypes. Facilitating cross-border cooperation: By involving youth from different countries in the consortium, the project aimed to establish international contacts and encourage future joint projects. Cross-border cooperation was seen as a means to strengthen connections and work collaboratively towards sustainable peace. Enhancing cultural knowledge and understanding: The project sought to increase the level of young people's knowledge about the cultures of the participating countries. By doing so, it aimed to foster mutual respect and appreciation for diversity. Developing peace education and human rights education: Participants were expected to gain a deeper understanding of peace, peace education, and human rights education at personal, interpersonal, and institutional levels. This objective aimed to empower young people to become agents of positive change in their communities. Strengthening the cooperation within the Erasmus+ program: The project aimed to stimulate collaboration between organizations active in the youth field, creating a network for future youth-related initiatives and exchanges under the Erasmus+ program.
