Objectives

BACKGROUND OF OUR PROJECT Content of Our Project Today, environmental pollution is defined as the uncontrolled discharge of urban and industrial wastewater (into seas, lakes and rivers). At the same time, with the rapid development of the population as a result of unplanned urbanization, the release of human waste into the natural environment is a factor that causes environmental pollution. Unfortunately, uncontrolled consumption of natural resources during the production of agricultural products or other needs to meet the needs of rapid population growth has been a situation that has emerged. It is possible for people to form a social unity against environmental pollution and minimize the risks by preventing this situation. Accordingly, environmental pollution can be taken under control with consumption habits due to population growth, planned urbanization and good waste management, and necessary measures can be taken against this situation, which has become a global problem. This can be achieved primarily by living in a healthy environment. The way to make this healthy environment sustainable is through education and environmental education. Because only generations with environmental education and environmental protection awareness can consciously defend our world, one of our most valuable assets. The main starting point of our project is to contribute to raising awareness of children, parents, young people, our target group and primarily educators, and to raise individual and social awareness in order to prevent environmental pollution and minimize risk factors. Objectives Achieved with our project 1. It contributed to raising awareness of environmental protection among our participants and target group. 2.People were encouraged to recycle in order to consume less resources in nature. 3.Young children, to whom we will entrust our future, were encouraged to green movement. It contributed to raising awareness of the green movement. 4.Awareness has been raised among the participants and our target group about the separation of garbage and waste. Necessary information about waste management has been provided and support has been implemented to be more sensitive to individuals about this issue. 5.Informative activities were carried out about the measures to be taken against environmental pollution. 6.People were encouraged to conduct research on regulations to protect the environment. 7.The objectives and priorities of Erasmus Plus were explained, contributed to raising people's awareness, and raised awareness of the participants, the target group and the local community about the opportunities offered by Erasmus Plus Programs to young people. 8.The project contributed to the elimination of xenophobia by enabling participants to get to know individuals from different cultures, and contributed to the removal of prejudices of young people coming together from different cultures through cultural activities and teamwork during the project, 9.Participants were helped to improve their foreign language skills, and participants with fewer opportunities were supported to regain their confidence in communicating in English. 10.Cooperation was ensured within the framework of respect and tolerance through teamwork. 11.It was emphasized that equal opportunity should be provided to participants with fewer opportunities. 12.The main objectives and priorities of the Erasmus Plus Programs have contributed to the understanding of the participants and they have been informed about the Youthpass Certificate and Erasmus Plus Programs. 13.Teaching techniques were used in every study carried out by the participants during the project activities and participants were encouraged to gain personal skills and transform their skills into behaviors by using these techniques. 14.Work has been carried out on ensuring environmental sustainability, combating the climate crisis and raising awareness on environmental protection, which are among the main goals and priorities of Erasmus Plus Programs.
