The objectives of the project have been aligned with the objectives of Key Action 1 “Mobility projects for students and staff in higher education”. The student mobility programmes offered students in our fields of study (Physiotherapy, Sport and Exercise Sciences, and International Sport Management) and our cycles (Bachelor and Master) the opportunity to study or train abroad as part of their studies. Students were exposed to different teaching methods, research or working practices in a European or International context. They were encouraged to develop transversal skills such as communication, language, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, intercultural skills, as well as the ability to adapt to new situations and self-confidence. The staff mobility programmes enabled academic and administrative staff members to teach or train abroad as part of their professional development. They had the opportunity to share their expertise, to experience new teaching environments, to acquire new innovative skills, to get in touch with their colleagues abroad, to exchange best practices and strengthen cooperation between higher education and other institutions working in the fields of interest to better prepare students for the world of work.
