The TEIS youth exchange project aimed to use European tales and storytelling to promote social inclusion, solidarity, cultural dialogue, and tolerance in Europe. The project's main objectives were to empower, engage, and connect young people for solidarity in post-COVID societies by improving intercultural dialogue and promoting social inclusion, engagement, empowerment, and connection of young people through tales. The project had three specific objectives: empowering solidarity and building trust in communities, increasing the awareness level of social inclusion and civic engagement among participants and organizations, and encouraging European organizations to use tales as a creative tool in the social inclusion of vulnerable youth against COVID-19. To achieve these objectives, the project involved 47 participants and 7 organizations over a period of 10 days, using non-formal education activities to improve skills, knowledge, and competence regarding social inclusion as well as EU Youth Strategy. Through the project, participants created dialogue using European values as a tool and improved their solidarity competencies through empowerment, engagement, and connection. The TEIS project aimed to contribute to sustainable growth and ensure equity, prosperity, and social inclusion in Europe and beyond. By using tales as a powerful inclusion tool in youth work for positive change in European societies, the project reinforced the importance of trust, solidarity, and social justice in the post-COVID world.
