European countries have, over the course of many years, faced a number of challenges, such as unemployment, economic crises, refugee crises, gender inequality, environmental pollution, xenophobia, and difficulty for young people to enter the labor market, along with many other social issues. The Erasmus+ program of the European Union provides numerous opportunities to support the realization of new innovative ideas and projects. In order to provide opportunities for young people to affect their society and tackle the important issues that concern all of them, there is a need for qualified youth workers who could prepare and organize high-quality projects within the scope of the Erasmus+ program. With the launch of the new Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027, there was also a need for youth workers and organizations with previous experience in youth projects to become familiar with and adapt to the new Erasmus+ program guide and get to know more information about the changes in the program, new topics, and new opportunities that it provided. There was a need to better understand these new developments by youth workers, project writers, and implementers. The issues mentioned above were the ones that the Mobility of Youth Workers YWL2027 aimed to address. The project gathered 24 youth workers from 8 programme countries with the main goal of developing both theoretical and practical competencies in the realization of high-quality youth projects within the scope of the new Erasmus+ Programme for 2021-2027. The Mobility of Youth Workers equipped the youth workers with the necessary knowledge and skills, which they would be able to put into practice in their organizations.
