It was planned that the implementation of the project will support the achievement of the development vision of OT PIC - to become a European-level professional education center. During the project, it was planned: 1. There must be a shortage of locksmiths with turning skills in the agricultural sector, so the plan was in cooperation with LITA training for adult learners and the opportunity to gain international experience at Deula Nienbrug Agricultural Sector Practical Training Center in Germany. 2. In the future, OT wants to become an important education center for the Baltic Sea region, implementing the training of forest machine operators, arborists, and chainsaw driver training. To implement it, it is necessary to promote opportunities for obtaining the international chainsaw driver's license, how to gain international experience on logging equipment 3. OT implements training of beekeepers. As part of the project, it was planned that the participants would visit the beekeeping museum in Weimar and the Thuringia beekeepers' educational institution to build cooperation. 4. Gain experience and skills in creating flexible adult education program offers, reaching new customer groups.
Ogre Technical School (OT) is one of the biggest professional education institutions in Latvia. In April 2017, the Adult Education Center was established in OT, whose functions include the implementation of adult education programs and the development of the offer for adults. Every year, OT implements training for more than 1000 participants. The goal of the OT field of adults is to increase the need for knowledge education of each individual by modernizing the environment, and the development perspective so that the obtained education in all types and degrees of education acquires competitive competencies, which will allow to work professionally and develop creatively to compete in today's changing world and to cope with communication. with various risks and uncertainties. OT's vision for the development of adult education and to become a European-level professional education center that ensures sustainable development of individuals, companies, and society, as well as to expand international cooperation by attracting foreign teaching staff in the implementation of adult education programs. Based on the proposed vision, the project goals are essential in the development of the Adult Education Center of OT.
