Within the project we wanted to give the adult educators of our organiztion the opportunity to attend training courses in order to gain new ideas, new methods and European knowledge and to pass on to the senior audience. We improved our knowledge and methodology in language teaching, as well as the skills necessary for every teacher to take care of their own well-being.
NGO "Grannies.lv" (registration No. 40008178937) was established in 2011 with the aim to unite active seniors and to work in the field of adult education and culture, encouraging seniors to engage in lifelong learning activities. The Erasmus Plus KA 1 project "Flexible" gave our organization the opportunity to gain experience in other European countries with quality course providers. We learnt how adult and senior education is conducted in other European countries. We have identified intercultural communication as an important area, as well as creative approaches to language and culture learning. For each desired goal, in the project, we managed to find suitable courses.
