Objectives

Our project aims to achieve the following results: 1. To improve the quality of teaching and learning in the educational institution. 2. To increase the methodological capacity of the educational institution through cooperation between the administration and teachers. 3. To raise awareness and understanding of the context of the European Union, in particular its common values, principles of unity and diversity, as well as its social and cultural history. 4. Ensure staff mobility and raise the level of skills and capacities.

Background

The school wants to improve its and the country's vision in the EU, to be more active in internationalisation, to increase the school's methodological capacity with innovative teaching methods that helps to enliven lessons, to create dynamic and exciting learning environment where competence-based education is implemented. The innovative teaching methods, ideas and tools acquired by the teachers during international courses and job-shadowing will improve the competence of the staff and management, enabling them to ensure the quality of education at school. Teachers are motivated to improve. Many of them have already mastered English at a conversational level and want to develop their knowledge further, participate in e-Twinning and Erasmus+ K2 projects, teach CLIL lessons and already have the skills they need to improve. We communicated and collaborated with our partners abroad on intercultural issues to gain examples of good practice. Realising the project we wanted to find new innovative didactic models and methodological approaches to be used in the daily teaching process, which will promote learners' responsibility for their results, enhance their achievements and facilitate their involvement in the selfassessment process.
