Objectives

With the help of the project, we tried to develop and improve the well-being of students and teachers in the school, which is based on such values as respect, love, cooperation, and others. By increasing the understanding of the values, what they mean, how everyone understands them and how to implement them in everyday life. We wanted to draw the attention of the entire school team to the fact that mutual relations, the well-being of every member of the school team - both students and teachers - in the school is closely related to achievable results, with the quality of work, as well as a sense of belonging to the team. In order to implement this, the goal was to prepare a team of 10 volunteer students who, based on the lesson plans prepared (together with their foreign peers) lesson plans on values, that they could lead them to their school peers. The lessons have been placed in the school's cloud environment and can be used by class teachers in class lessons, as well as it is possible for teachers to integrate the subject into their lessons. It is also planned that the accompanying teachers will gain experience in how welfare issues are dealt with elsewhere in Europe.

Background

In 2021, the results of the questionnaire conducted by the student self-government showed that a large number of students do not feel very well at school, because there is a lack of a positive atmosphere, a favorable environment. This led to more attention being drawn to welfare issues. Some of the answers could be found in the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as in the fact that the school is gradually integrating minority students. The students themselves carried out their ideas in the project of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture "The map of the path to well-being, or Contact", learning about conflict resolution, recognizing and managing emotions, conducting lessons for peers as well. The school also got involved in the LU project "E-TAP", which was and is being implemented in the classroom. The implemented activities revealed an even wider field of needs, highlighting the different understanding of different values among students, as well as between students and teachers. Sometimes finding missing values.
