Several achievable results were set for the implementation of the project: 1. learn from good practice examples of other countries and schools for the implementation of targeted teacher professional development and cooperation at the school level; 2. observe teachers' professional development and cooperation in pedagogical practice by participating in teacher-led lessons, meeting with the school's management team and participating in the activities of teacher cooperation groups; 3. to get new ideas for good practice examples of how to organize teacher learning and cooperation at the school level, and share with other teachers of the Friendly Appeal Cēsis State Gymnasium and other schools from Cēsis county; 4. to improve teachers' professional reflection skills by evaluating their pedagogical practice, learning from the experience of teachers from other schools.
Friendly Appel Cēsis State Gymnasium is a general education school where students from 7th to 12th grade study. The goal of the school is to work with talented students, ensuring high academic results in daily study work and national exams. Although the school has many talented students, students with identified different learning needs are also enrolled in the scholl. This means that the school must proactively seek solutions to ensure the growth of every student, regardless of his previous learning experience. Targeted teacher professional development and school-wide collaboration between school staff is a solution to improve teachers' knowledge and understanding of students' learning needs and how to adapt the daily learning process to support every student. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, we organized an exchange of experience with partners from Bulgaria and Belgium in order to learn from the experience of other schools, how to organize effective teacher professional development and create a mutual support system in the school, in order to create a common understanding of teachers about learning goals for all the students and develop a common strategy for achieving these goals.
