Objectives

The school wanted to achieve more knowledge by attending methodology courses on collaboration, PBL and other 21st century competences; teaching staff and administration wanted to deepen their knowledge and experience by attending courses and job shadowing. As the result of this the main aim was to achieve improved strategy of interdisciplinary collaboration both with teachers and students. Regarding mobilities of school groups we wanted to achieve more active students' participation in their school life, in varying it. The school also wanted to be a part of Erasmus+ programme to developed its international network, bring EU dimension into its daily learning processes.

Background

The school identified necessity to improve collaboration skills both between teachers and students in order to carry out more interdisciplinary learning which has been set as one of the priorities at school. It was also stated that the students and students' council had become quite inactive, perhaps also due to the impact of Covid 19 pandemic when a lot of time was spent at home in isolation from peers. So the school saw it necessary to motivate them, encourage them to be more active and vary their school life. Thus the school wanted to strengthen the profile of teaching staff, help achieve its goals, provide more varied, interesting and up-to-date learning process, as well as support active acquisition of the 21st century competences. The school wanted to be a part of Erasmus+ programme to make new contacts, strengthen international cooperation.
