In implementing of our project, we generally want to increase intercultural competences, to use the language in an authentic way. To help students develop the practical use of the language, its importance in communication with participants from other countries, improve presentation skills and public speaking practice. Gathering information about new pedagogical approaches, as well as supporting students, helping them adapt to a new environment and improve digital skills. In connection with the goals of the project, we would like to achieve a more nuanced understanding of the problems of environmental preservation, of improvements in waste sorting and their reduction. Promoting a healthy lifestyle in every family, understanding the global impact of our food and promoting awareness of sustainable environmental preservation.
The importance of environmental sustainability, responsibility, the need to promote changes in people's thinking about environmental issues, as well as the challenges our school is currently dealing with, made us decide to apply for this project. We believe that the main goal is to develop in students and their families the skills to protect nature and the climate from an early age, so that these ideas are sustainable for future generations. To make this possible, we decided to focus on waste processing, the use of recycled materials, a healthy lifestyle. All these aspects are included in the new competence education standard and correspond to the curricula of the subjects. With the help of the project, it is possible to promote career choices in the future.
