Firstly, within the terms of the project, the teachers who attended the courses could share their knowledge and skills gained during international courses with other teachers within the organisation and district. The main focus was to empower the teachers who on daily basis are competent educators in their field. Also, the benefit of hands-on experience and the most effective ICT strategies was another reason why new and effective ways how to have instant feedback and ways of improving the work with self-guided learning . The project and the attendance of the ICT courses were a chance to have self-designed ready made materials which could be easily edited and applied in the education process. Secondly, organise two contests where students' knowledge and understanding in real-time is evaluated, therefore there will be no need to make paper copies, the time needed to correct the works will be reduced and the chance to give the opportunity to increase the number of students taking part in the contest due to the limit of space in the temporary building we are occupying now. Thirdly, it was important to promote our school's image with a help of engaging and interactive multimedia content to promote our school.
Since the school's main activity is teaching and it is known for very good achievements in learning, for good experience in motivating and working with gifted students and being a regional methodological centre for other schools not only in our town but also in the district and even neighbouring districts for many years, the project was an opportunity for us to develop our teacher's' competences and skills in the ICT courses on international level. Since our school is currently being renovated, due to the fact of limited space in the temporary building we are occupying now, we had to come up with the ideas and means how we can organise competitions and events with big number of students while not interfering our study process. Furthermore, it is important to think about school's image, especially in social media platforms, because it is an opportunity to share our knowledge, the information about our work and attract new students who would like to study in our school because according to our school's development plan, one of the goals is to develop a new action plan for attracting students to school's 7th and 10th grade.
