By implementing the project, RTU LMC planned to improve the professional and management competencies of the staff - in the field of "green" thinking, ICT technologies and tools, coaching, strategic management, and leadership; improve the quality and content of education and training; to promote the improvement of learners' competencies by providing the opportunity to get traineeship outside RTU LMC - in foreign countries, thus also to ensure the institution's sustainable cooperation with other organizations outside Latvia, to promote the improvement of the institution's image in society.
Riga Technical University Liepaja Maritime College (further - RTU LMC) is a professional education institution where you can successfully acquire theoretical and practical education in line with Latvian education and the international standards of the maritime profession, implements accredited full-time and part-time short-cycle professional higher education programs and secondary professional education programs, and prepares maritime (navigation and engineering officers) and logistics specialists by the laws of Latvia and the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The project aimed to ensure the development of the organization's staff and to provide learners with the opportunity to go on long-term and short-term learning mobility abroad. As well as promoting the organization's ability to be an active member of the European network of Erasmus+ organizations.
