The participation of the Rigas Tehniska koledza (RTK) in the Erasmus + program mobility project and the implementation of activities are considered an important tool for the implementation of the RTK development strategy, modernization and internationalization plan. Objectives and tasks of the RTK Erasmus + mobility project: to motivate and stimulate students and staff to gain international experience in the field of study or work, to improve participants' professional and personal competencies, to establish and improve cooperation with EU HEI and companies, to update study programmes contents and integrate technological and methodological innovations in the study process, to provide opportunities for the integration of students and staff in the international social, economic and cultural environment, creating an understanding of the place of Latvian citizens and society in the European Community.
