Objectives

During the implementation of the project, it was planned to facilitate both the internationalization of the educational institution and the internationalization and development of each participant. The main tasks of the project are to prepare competitive employees for the Latvian and Baltic labor market so this was planned to be achieved by improving students' practical and theoretical knowledge, skills and competences needed for the labor market, developing skills and competencies of staff members and broadening participants' horizons about different cultures.Erasmus+ gives participants the opportunity to travel, live and study/work outside their usual environment, get acquainted with different cultures and get understanding of the economical situation which is highly required for future economists.Based on the latest SSE Riga research data,SSE Riga graduates work in the largest Latvian and Baltic financial companies(http://www.sseriga.edu/about/alumni),thus the acquired knowledge, skills, competencies, ethical principles and cross-cultural experience are practically applied in Latvia and the Baltic region. Many foreign students return to their home countries and use their mobility experience in their region. In the framework of this project, student study and traineeship mobility and staff mobility were implemented, including - experts from the industry who were invited to share their practical experience with current students, thus establish stronger connections with the labor market and industry representatives of different regions.
