The aim of Daugavpils University’s 2022 project was to successfully and effectively promote the involvement of students and staff in international mobility activities. The aim was to ensure equal opportunities for all students and staff to study at partner universities, undertake traineeships in foreign organizations, teach, and engage in professional development regardless of their background, circumstances, field of study or work. Participation in the programme helped to strengthen the university’s internationalization and recognition beyond Latvia. It promoted cultural exchange, enhanced cooperation with existing partner universities and organizations, and developed the intercultural competencies of participants. Improved foreign language skills, fostered an understanding of inclusion, society values and strengthened a sense of belonging to the European Union. It was important to plan and master the timely use of the funding.
