One of the goals of Banku augstskola (BA) strategy is to increase the value and sustainability of the BA brand in Latvia and internationally. Taking that into account the Erasmus+ program has a significant impact on the university and is an important prerequisite for improving its operation and further development. Outgoing students improve their professional knowledge and gain experience in partner universities and companies abroad. Thus, the Erasmus+ experience is considered an unique opportunity and an important factor, especially in terms of students' professional development and personal growth. While incoming exchange students from various universities of cooperation partners abroad, ensure the presence of an international environment in the university, allowing to learn more on cultural differences, as well as promoting their cooperation skills and professional knowledge exchange. The lecturers and administrative staff of the university also gain invaluable experience in partner universities and foreign organizations. Acquired experience and knowledge are used towards both improving university's study process and professional development of its staff.
