The main aim of implementing Erasmus+ KA171 project was to enhance the quality of education and to raise the standards of the educational system, to provide Riga Technical university students and staff with opportunities to acquire new academic and professional knowledge, as well as to develop personal skills and intercultural competences through participation in mobility activities. By doing so, the project sought to contribute directly to the implementation of Riga Technical university`s internationalisation strategy and to the fulfilment of the principles of the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education. The project aimed to strengthen cooperation with existing partners and to establish new, successful collaborations with higher education institutions worldwide. It was also important to support the horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ programme and to promote inclusiveness, active civic engagement and equal opportunities. In addition, we intended to raise awareness of the added value of mobility among students and staff, increase the number of participants compared to previous Erasmus+ projects, and reinforce the international environment already established within Riga Technical university.
