Objectives

By implementing the Good Start project, the partnership aimed to achieve a comprehensive understanding of digital hygiene practices among startups and small businesses, and to bridge the skills gap in this critical area. The project will help establish a standardized measure of digital hygiene behavior through the development of a "Digital Hygiene Behaviour Index" and provide tailored training materials for both startups and VET providers.

Background

We applied for this project because it addresses a critical need for startups and small businesses to improve their digital hygiene practices, which are essential for protecting against cyber threats. With the rise of online business and the increase in cyberattacks, it is crucial for startups to have a solid digital defense system in place. By offering tailored training and resources, this project will empower businesses to establish effective security measures and ensure their IT systems remain secure and well-maintained. Our goal is to contribute to enhancing the digital security standards and supporting the growth of businesses in the digital age.
