Our Erasmus+ project, with its trio of interconnected activities, has been meticulously designed to enrich youth work and elevate youth engagement across Europe, which are priorities of Erasmus+ programme of EU. The project aligns with European Youth Goals and adheres to Erasmus+ Accreditation Standards, aiming for a multifaceted societal impact and individual development among the youth. Our Future Starts Today: This training course (PDA), conducted in Cyprus, targeted the empowerment of youth workers by addressing global societal issues. Utilizing non-formal educational methods, it focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to confront global challenges, enhance active citizenship, and promote human rights. The course was a unique blend of interactive sessions, including workshops and discussions, crafted to empower participants to become agents of change in their communities and beyond. Dances of Universal Peace: Held in Latvia, this training course (PDA) was distinct in its approach, concentrating on promoting eco-friendly practices and mental health awareness. It offered an innovative platform for participants to explore environmental sustainability and personal well-being. The course was instrumental in instilling a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation and imparting practical skills for mental wellness. This initiative was particularly relevant in the wake of increased environmental concerns and the psychosocial challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Occaterra: Land of Opportunities: As a youth exchange in Latvia, this activity provided a dynamic environment for participants from various backgrounds, including young refugees, to engage with European values and inclusivity. It was a melting pot of cultures, fostering a deep understanding of mental well-being, European unity and importancy of active citizenship. In summary, our project aimed to: Empower youth with crucial knowledge and skills to address global societal issues ("Our Future Starts Today"). Promote environmental consciousness and mental health awareness ("Dances of Universal Peace"). Enhance inclusivity and active European citizenship ("Occaterra: Land of Opportunities"). These activities collectively contributed to fostering a more inclusive, aware, and engaged European youth community, in alignment with the objectives and quality standards set by the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation.
