We wanted to achieve that any youth worker by starting a work can have a handbook what can help to understand what kind of skills will be needed, how to interact with youngsters , what kind of topics and activities to offer according place, resources and interest of youngsters. All work packages developed some part of our handbook, what can help newcomers in youth field to understand their work specific and can evaluate their ability to adapt to any situation what can appear by working with youngsters from rural areas with limited opportunities. As a result of this project we have created handbook and toolbox for mobile youth workers what can help to start activities with youngs and can create structured thematic activities adapted to their needs. Project partners made research in each country, shared their experience and had a meeting with local authorities and youth centers/organizations what give specific experience and helped to learn form each other. As well we sow difference of youth politic programs and involvement in youth work structures. Practical visits in local youth centers helped to develop new ways of work methods. This project also helps as great partnership cooperation instrument for future to learn.
By implementing this project we wanted to create learning material and handbook for mobile youth workers what will help to understand specific of profession and action as mobile youth worker. Between partners we wanted to share our best experiences, what can help to improve youth work recognition in each country. As each of partners have different experience, this project will bring together theoretical, practical and innovative experiences form Spain, Latvia, Georgia and Romania. Most important is that all of involved countries have quite specific area of youth groups we are working with, but mostly we are focusing on rural areas and youngs with limited opportunities who is our target group for testing our tool box created by our partnership. When we created project all partners admitted that there is no specific training materials or handbooks for mobile youth work in rural areas and understanding about mobile youth worker needed skills, attitudes and action plans. Mobile youth worker have to work according youth needs and to bu sure they understand the needs for each youth group who will be involved in activities. Practical activities according to our hand book can help new youth workers to research field.
