The main objective of implementing the project was to enhance the motivation, productivity, and efficiency of teachers and students in using modern digital tools. We aimed to create a more interactive learning environment focused on students, which will help them develop critical and logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through the implementation of the project, we improved teaching practices and acquired new knowledge and skills related to innovative teaching methods. We created a more effective and engaging learning experience for students and enhanced their problem-solving competencies through coding and encryption. The use of technology in education was promoted, and students were encouraged to develop skills related to digital literacy and robotics. With this project, we integrated technology into our teaching practices and explored new ways of using digital tools to enhance student learning. Through the Erasmus+ program, we had the opportunity to connect with other educators and exchange ideas.
Our school "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje, as the oldest school in our country, is confronted with the new trends of the 21st century in the digital era, such as digital skills, critical and logical thinking. Therefore, our school recognized the need to incorporate these skills into our teaching methods. In this way, we equip students to tackle challenges related to robotics, programming, encryption, and decryption through activities and techniques suited to their age group. The acquired knowledge and skills can be utilized by students in various aspects of daily life, the labor market, industry, data protection, and in facilitating their professional orientation when selecting further +education and future careers. We believe that through these activities, we enhance the quality time students spend in front of computers and enable them to harness information technology more effectively. Students with special educational needs (SEN) will also have the opportunity to acquire knowledge in a manner distinct from the regular curriculum. Our project is structured around several key areas: the competencies of our teachers, innovations in teaching, pilot programs, and leadership.
