Objectives

To ensure the cooperation between School and Companies, the most important stakeholders of the Vocational Education. To develop professional competencies in which students can apply theoretical, practical, social and soft and transversal skills through work-based learning method. To facilitate the employability of our students by eliminating the practical work deficiencies in the real business environment, work discipline habits, foreign language use and individual development.

Background

New advanced technology systems based on IT and web-based accounting software programs used by the accounting systems of powerful economies, demand changes in the way of reporting, and application of financial information. Being up-to-date with the changes improves our students' employability and increases our school's attractiveness to future students. The elimination of this gap between our education system and the new trends shows the necessity to revise the current accounting education and to train qualified personnel capable of satisfying the expectations of the labour market. The socio-cultural activities carried out throughout the process and the language support provided contributes to the participants' awareness that they are part of a social structure, it eliminates the feelings of exclusion, and prejudices and develops awareness of European citizenship.
