Objectives

The objectives of our project, "Green Entrepreneurship - Easier done than said," were to address key issues related to the environment, digital entrepreneurship, and inclusivity while aligning with the goals of the Erasmus+ program and Youth Exchanges. Through the implementation of our project, we strived to achieve the following objectives: 1. Environment and Fight Against Climate Change: Our primary objective was to raise awareness about the environmental impact of the fashion industry and promote sustainable practices, particularly through second-hand shopping. We aimed to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and waste generation associated with the fashion industry. By encouraging participants to start their own sustainable businesses and develop a webshop for reselling products, we fostered a "Green Europe" mindset. 2. Digital Transformation: A key objective was to equip young people with digital skills and entrepreneurial knowledge. We aimed to empower participants to create their own webshops, using various digital tools and platforms. Through workshops and practical training, we provided valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in web design, social media management, and other essential digital skills. Our objective was to support the participants in adapting to the digital transformation that is increasingly important in today's world. 3. Inclusion and Diversity: We aimed to create an inclusive and diverse environment where participants from different cultural backgrounds and varying levels of access to education and training systems could come together. Our objective was to facilitate meaningful discussions, foster understanding, and encourage the sharing of experiences. By promoting inclusivity, we aimed to enhance innovative results, decision-making, and outcomes for all participants. By implementing our project, we successfully achieved these objectives: 1. Environmental Impact: Participants gained a deep understanding of the environmental issues associated with the fashion industry, such as excessive carbon emissions and clothing waste. They actively promoted second-hand shopping as an alternative, effectively reducing their personal carbon footprints and encouraging others to do the same. Through their entrepreneurial endeavors and the development of webshops, they facilitated the reuse and extended lifespan of clothing items, significantly contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry. 2. Digital Skills and Entrepreneurial Knowledge: Participants acquired essential digital skills and knowledge required for online business, including web development, social media management, and e-commerce. They successfully created and managed their webshops, expanding their entrepreneurial skills and gaining practical experience in running sustainable businesses. The project provided them with a strong foundation for future endeavors in the digital realm and instilled a sense of confidence in their ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving digital landscape. 3. Inclusive and Diverse Learning Environment: The project fostered a truly inclusive and diverse atmosphere, where participants from different cultures and backgrounds could share their experiences, perspectives, and best practices related to green entrepreneurship. The exchange of ideas and intercultural understanding enriched the learning process for all participants. They developed a broader awareness of the varying levels of "Go Green" awareness and digital transformation in different countries, promoting mutual learning and appreciation. Overall, the project successfully met its objectives of addressing environmental issues, promoting digital transformation, and encouraging inclusivity and diversity. By empowering young entrepreneurs with knowledge, skills, and a "Green Europe" mindset, we made a positive impact on both a personal and societal level. The participants' enhanced digital and entrepreneurial competencies, coupled with their increased awareness of sustainability, position them as catalysts for change in their respective communities and beyond.
