Teachers have understood better the effects of the positive aspects of social media: learnt about ways and means on how to implement social media in our classroom in order to enhance the students’ engagement and strengthen the communication with them. Teachers have acquired a better sense of looking at ways and means how students can positively use technology in their own private life, to understand the world and express their talents. Teachers and have experienced techniques about fostering cross-cultural understanding, in this way promoting creative ways of thinking in their students and Implement effective strategies for collaborative learning in the classroom.
This project has been designed to fulfill the increasing need and interest in the need to enhance emotional intelligence, create literal thinkers and digital literacy in our teaching- learning environment as a school. It has been noted that at our school, National Sport School, educational staff and other non-teaching staff are trying to cope with the new digital world we are living in, to collaborate and be creative towards the new educational needs. Participants will gain knowledge, acquire new techniques on how to improve and keep up with the current situations facing in our classrooms.
