Objectives

The project set out to achieve specific objectives through its two main activities: Aims of Learner Mobility Activity (July): Through workshops and discussions, participants would gain a deeper understanding of environmental issues and their interconnectedness with broader social challenges. This activity also aimed at fostering cultural exchange and appreciation among participants, promoting greater tolerance towards each other and diversity. The impact of this activity was visible in the increased environmental consciousness among participants, enabling them to make more informed decisions. Also, participants showed a greater commitment to adopt eco-friendly practices within their youth organisations to contribute to a culture of environmental responsibility. International networking and collaborations were also a focus of this activity, allowing participants to address global challenges together and extend their influence beyond the immediate scope of the project. Aims of Staff Mobility Activity (September): Youth leaders were expected to deepen their understanding of environmental and social well-being and justice issues while developing certain project management and collaboration skills. The activity served as a platform for youth leaders to build and strengthen networks with participants from various organisations and countries. The project also aimed to enhance political and civic engagement among youth leaders, empowering them to participate actively in the democratic process and assume leadership roles in their communities. The goal was to foster a culture of respect for the environment and commitment to well-being. Having a greater visibility by participating organisations at local and international levels would be a way to open doors to further opportunities and resources, allowing them to play a more prominent role in public debates on matters of social justice and the environment. Overall, these two activities were designed to create a positive and lasting impact on individuals, organisations, and communities. They aimed to promote environmental responsibility, social justice, cultural understanding, and civic involvement at various levels, aligning with the broader goal of addressing pressing environmental and societal challenges while also fostering a sense of global interconnectedness and collaboration.
