Objectives

By participating in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Programme 2022, the UM aimed to further strengthen existing relationships with partner universities whilst fostering new ones. The goal was to increase the internationalisation at the UM through different types of mobility flows. Its participation in the Erasmus+ ICM program yielded several benefits on various levels, including: -Hosting of international students at UM from different countries across the world, leveraging the awarded funding to build on past achievements, whilst activating new collaborations that previously lacked financial resources. -At participant level, the Erasmus+ ICM mobility provided administrative and academic staff with first-hand experience, enabling them to explore new collaboration areas and share their experiences with colleagues and students, enhancing soft skills and teaching methods. -At institution level, mobilities enhance campus internationalisation, benefiting students, administrative and academic staff.Exposure to new cultures and ideologies contributes to cultural sensitivity among staff and students. Hosting staff from partner institutions increases exposure to different language skills, which are crucial in a globalised world
