The project has achieved its intended objective. The project was simple in nature. It aimed to exploit in the best way possible the knowledge and skillset of each of the partners in order to create and deliver an accredited training. Ensure that this learning would have longevity. Improve the availability of services for persons with disability.
Agenzija Sapport has been focusing on enhancing the psychological support available to individuals with disabilities. Through its work it has often found difficulty in finding professionals in the field of psychology psychiatry, social work, youth work, and other areas of a similar nature (including psychosocial teams within schools), with a pre-existing understanding on how to apply their skill set with PWD. This project aimed to start to bridge that gap through the creation and delivery of accredited training.
