Objectives 1) short-term mobilities for 25 students in 4 different countries. 2) Long-term mobilities for 3 studentens 3) Job-shadowing for 2 teachers. 4) Gain experience with organization of variety of mobilities. 5) Strengthen skills and compentences of students and staff.
Rivor is a small regional vocational education centre in Tiel with 7 different locations. The school offers more than 80 different vocational courses, which are divided over 3 academies: Healthcare, Entrepeneur Enterprises, and Technical Department. The studens are young adults in age from 16 till 60 years old. As ROC Rivor is located in a poor and lowly educated area of the Netherlands. The region also has many social (youth) problems. The average income is €26,900 (2021, most recent figures) (scaled place 266 (of 342)) Within the outlined background, students have few opportunities to gain knowledge and experience outside the region, let alone gain knowledge and experience in Union member states. Neither student not staff are well connected internationally . Memberstatesborders, Germany and Belgium are - relatively - at large distance.
