We had three main objectives when we started with Call 2022 and we aimed to achieve the following: 1. Providing teachers with a broad perspective of different ideas and approaches within their own sector will provide them with the confidence and professionality to teach students and to prepare the students for their own sector. 2. Many students will never have the opportunity to work abroad or even go abroad because of various reasons, therefore we want to ensure that students are included in the current globalization of societies and the integration of companies throughout Europe. 3. By strengthening our relationships within the Eurocom Smart network will provide more internship and job-shadowing opportunities which will ensure that the two other objectives are met.
ROC Menso Alting is an MBO institution that offers training in economics, health care, welfare, pedagogical and services sectors. ROC Menso Alting is a reformed school for Christians and non-Christians, that encourages students to discover and develop their talents and find their place in society. A school education ends with school exams and practical exams. ROC Menso Alting distinguishes itself from other MBOs by our strong identity, norms and values and the quality that results from them. The small scale of our school is highly appreciated. The school offers courses on levels 2, 3 and 4 in full time and part time variants. The age of students varies between 15 - 30 years. However, the part time variant is also taken by students over 30 years old. Within the school we have an international team that falls directly under the director. The preparation is carried out by the project members (international team). They are responsible for the selection, preparation sessions and practical arrangements, for example. The main objective for the team is to provide students and teachers the opportunity to obtain an international work experience by using Erasmus+ funding.
