Objectives

Internationalization plays a crucial role in NHL Stenden’s mission to provide high-quality, globally aware education and research. The labor market and industries for which our students are trained are becoming increasingly globalized. To navigate an interconnected and interdependent world, it is essential for all students to understand the intercultural and international aspects of their field of study, regardless of whether they study abroad or domestically, at the Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's level. Participating in the Erasmus+ project enables students and staff to engage in activities, projects, exchanges, and other forms of international cooperation, both virtually and through (environmentally) friendly travel. Student and staff mobility is a key activity for acquiring the international and intercultural competencies outlined in our Strategic Internationalization Policy (see annex A). Our international network provides valuable and attractive opportunities for both students and staff to gain diverse experiences that are not available locally. NHL Stenden actively encourages students and staff to take advantage of these opportunities to enhance their learning and teaching practices.
