The vision of ArtEZ includes preparing students for the international working environment they will be part of after their graduation. This means that all the programmes at ArtEZ have an international component. The variety and size of this component depends on the discipline, the history and location of the course. International aspects can be the inclusion of international content in the curriculum, international project weeks, foreign (guest) lecturers or (of course) international mobility. In our view, exchange of students and staff is an excellent way to make our students and staff members more familiar with international aspects of their field of expertise, but also to get in touch with people with other cultural backgrounds and new working and studying habits. For us the main objectives of participation in the Erasmus+ programme can be summarized as the: - personal and professional development of our students and staff members, in terms of acquiring new knowledge and skills, and developing intercultural and international competences - further internationalisation of our institution - building on diversity and inclusion.
