Objectives

For many students, to be able to join the Erasmus+ mobility programme at one point during their study is considered a tremendous advantage, especially for those with mobility windows within their study programme. The AHK academies have now built steady partnerships with EU schools and many important players in the work field of our students. By implementing the Erasmus+ mobility programme, the AHK facilitates, empowers and allows their student to: (1) explore their individual learning trajectories during a study period abroad, or to carry out internship at a renowned institution in their arts discipline of performance arts, music, theatre, dance, film, cultural heritage, and so on, with the aim to gain (work) experiences, skills that would lead to a stronger position for the students in the labour market after graduation. (2) Students are encouraged to gain typical skills and competences within internationalisation, like adaptability, negotiating through differences, plural language skills, digital skills, intercultural awareness and sensitivity, deepening artistic knowledge, broadening their perspectives and empower them as an individual and competent player in the field of arts. (3) For the academies: to strengthen and deepen their existing relationships with renowned and relevant partner institutions; (4): and to explore new collaboration opportunities with new partners. (5): New innovations in education; teachers share their teaching skills, knowledge, and to share and at the same time, learn new pedagogical methods to explore curriculum development. (6): Staff to take trainings to gain new skills, broadening their European network and beyond. (7): Offering opportunities to students with fewer opportunities due to obstacles as financial challenge or health and learning issues to gain meaningful experiences for their future careers. (8) To expose students and staff to more understanding for civic engagement, consciousness about sustainability (and travels) and democratic values by promoting the Erasmus+ values.
