At THUAS, the primary goal of implementing this project is to advance key elements of our internationalization, inclusion & diversity, and sustainability policies. The Erasmus+ programme, particularly through KA131, plays a vital role in helping us achieve our objectives in these areas. Our aim is to ensure that every student at THUAS has at least one enriching experience in an international environment during their studies. The introduction of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) has proven to be a highly effective way to make this goal both feasible and beneficial for participants. Through Erasmus+, we seek to foster global citizenship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and inclusive learning environments—cornerstones of our educational vision. Despite a significant portion of our students not being European, we are committed to strengthening the European Higher Education Area and fostering a sense of European identity. The programme also significantly enhances staff development, offering more opportunities for international mobility and professional growth. Often, this leads to synergies and collaborative efforts to create new educational initiatives that benefit not only the academics, students, and institutions involved but also the broader European Higher Education Area. The project also reinforces our sustainability goals by encouraging participants to choose sustainable means of transportation, further supporting our commitment to reducing our environmental impact. Additionally, the "fewer opportunities top-up" aligns closely with our inclusion policy, ensuring equal access to international opportunities for all students, regardless of background, while breaking down barriers to participation and combating discrimination.
