With 31 mobilities (7 students and 24 staff), the project aimed to strengthen cooperation with Kenyan universities. The goal was to jointly develop a Living Lab on climate-adaptive food systems, enabling student research and exploring opportunities for joint education. HVHL intended to introduce its educational vision and practice in Velp to the Kenyan partners, while learning from their community service approach, research programmes, and agricultural practices. The ultimate ambition is to roll out Living Labs in four regions—Kenya, India, Indonesia, and the Caribbean—together with local stakeholders, as outlined in HVHL’s internationalisation strategy.
